Terms of Service
Last updated August 23, 2026.
- Community Chest connects neighbors; organizers and volunteers are responsible for their own projects and safety on site.
- Be a good neighbor: no harassment, no unsafe activities, no content that wouldn't belong on your block. Reported content can be removed within 24 hours and repeat offenders lose access.
- Showing up is free, forever. The only money on Community Chest is money paid to us for our own software: organization subscriptions, clearly labeled business sponsorships of a gathering, sponsored leaderboard prize slots, and an optional supporter tip in the app. A sponsorship is a marketing purchase, not a tax-deductible donation. We never collect donations, and we never hold or pass along anyone else's money.
- Where a sponsored prize is shown on a leaderboard, standings are earned by participation and the sponsoring organization awards the prize directly to the winner — Community Chest never holds or hands out prizes.
- Videos you upload remain yours, on your own YouTube channel, under YouTube's terms. Video features are provided through YouTube API Services; your use of them is also governed by the YouTube Terms of Service.
- The service is provided as-is during our pilot; we may change or discontinue features.
